When Ben and I moved to Blacksburg, I was 30 weeks pregnant. We didn’t know anyone. We showed up to church on Sunday and were immediately welcomed by so many people – including Lauren’s family. They had us over for dinner the next day and made us feel so loved!

I recently found out that Lauren was graduating from high school early. She finished up her last two courses through summer school and now she’s off to get certified in dietetics and become a personal trainer! She’ll also be attending Virginia Tech this fall. She’s definitely a go-getter.

It was so fun to take her senior portraits! We decided to go to Hahn Gardens on Tech Campus. The flowers are beautiful this time of year (but if I’m being honest, they’re beautiful all year). Lauren was game to get a little dirt on her behind so we could get some of these beautiful shots. I love it when my clients trust me and we are both so excited by the results 🙂
