Peter and Melece are one of those couples that just belong. After five years of marriage – and even more of best friendship! – they know each other. Capturing their love for their fifth anniversary was so fun for me, and I loved including their pup, Baymax.

Peter and Melly met when their freshman year of college in Hawaii. Talk about a dream! After years of friendship and dating, they tied the knot in Laie. After graduation, they moved to Utah for two years while they both got Masters degrees – Peter in Public Administration and Melly in Marriage and Family Therapy. Now they’re both getting their PhD’s at Virginia Tech! I know. They’re the coolest.

Something I really admire about Melly and Peter is their careful attention to their marriage. Five years in and they still act like newlyweds, in a lot of ways. It is clear that they love each other deeply. They respect and admire one another. And they definitely love their pupper!
