The funny thing about love is that it can’t be bounded by…anything. You find a spark of it, continue to create it, and it will thrive no matter where in the world you are. Fany and Jared met in Marseilles, France. Jared is American – he was completing an internship through BYU – and saw Fany at church. Fany is French and was dating someone.

Jared was not deterred. He waited patiently for the woman of his dreams.

A few years later, Jared and Fany reconnected and a romance blossomed. Now they have been married for 3 years and have two beautiful babies. Jared is attending the vet school at Virginia Tech while Fany is a full-time mama to their kids. And they are in love. Like, very in love. 🙂

I loved taking them out for an evening on the town! Ben watched Jack, Elena and Leo while the three of us ventured through the back side of Main Street, Blacksburg. The sun was just setting as we explored some of the beautiful old houses that have been adopted by Virginia Tech to be offices and classrooms. If you’ve ever been to Blacksburg, you know the area I’m talking about. The trees and the flowers were just perfect. It was seriously amazing!

One of the really fun parts of serving Fany and Jared was that I hardly had to pose them! They are so photogenic and probably could teach their own online course on posing for photographers. They’d make a killing with it. They just knew what to do!
